BIOGRAPHY

Lisa was born in Jacksonville, NC, but has lived in Florida
most of her life. She has enjoyed singing, since she was
six years of age. She has also served faithfully in church
choirs, school choirs, sang in nursing homes with a male
partner, and continues to be a soloist in her church. She
has performed in small churches near her hometown,
and performed in several talent competitions.

She has been under the direction of Vocal Coach, Yvonne
DeBandi, since January 2001. She is a faithful believer
of her teaching methods and her singing curriculum. Coach
Yvonne's CD can be purchased at the Sing Smart Web site
and is also available for download. She is grateful to have
the opportunity to work with Coach Yvonne.

Since working under the direction of Coach Yvonne, she
has changed her singing style. Lisa's first vocal coach
trained her for opera. She had to retrain her voice.
She is now able to sing other styles of music and
especially loves to perform country music. She especially
loves to perform songs by Faith Hill, who is her country
music idol.

Lisa did release her first CD of original Contemporary
Christian Music in 2004, produced by Wayne Youngblood
Ministries in Lakeland, Florida. The CD is only available for
purchase directly through Lisa McGinnis. Samples can
be heard at her web site. Lisa has performed these songs
in two churches with Mr. Youngblood, who is also a singer
of all styles of music.

In July 2005, Lisa started a new venture.She began
writing original songs in the the style of country or blues
and began recording a CD. The music was produced by
Wayne Youngblood.She also performed country songs
in local home town bars and social events with Mr.
Youngblood. Lisa has not been able to complete her
CD, due to an illness, which had a negative impact
on her voice. In February 2006, she returned to her
project and is writing additional songs to complete
her CD. Samples will soon be available.
